Summer Sailing and Windsurfing Camp 2007

Full Day Sailing or Windsurfing Weekly Camps

Cost:	$200 per week
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION To confirm your child for a week of camp, an original signed copy of the scholarship application and copy of a utility bill must be presented, not faxed. No space will be reserved unless all required papers for scholarship are presented or payment in full is made. VERIFY IF YOU LIVE IN UNINCORPORATED PINELLAS COUNTY YOUTH CAMP WAIVER

Sailing I (Full Day) Pram & Sunfish

Beginning class designed for novice and beginning sailors. Teaches basic sailing skills
including, knots and rigging, capsize recovery, tacking, jibing and upwind sailing. Pram is for small children up to 100lbs. A child must be at least 75lbs to sail a Sunfish.

Sailing II (Full Day) Pram & Sunfish

Intermediate sailing instruction for the sailors with some prior sailing experience. Beginning topics
will be reviewed and more advanced techniques will be introduced. Above requirements for level I apply. Pram is for small children up to 100lbs. A child must be at least 75lbs to sail a Sunfish.

Laser & JY15 I (Full Day)

Class designed for sailors who are interested in Laser or JY15 and maybe racing. Sailors must be age 12-16 and meet weight requirements or be proficient in basic sailing skills. Some racing skills and techniques will be covered. Sailors must have taken previous sailng camps, or demonstrate proficiency on all basic skills.

Laser & JY15 II Advanced (Full Day)

Class designed for sailors who are interested in advanced racing techniques. Sailors must be age 12-16 and meet weight requirements and be proficient in basic sailing skills. Advanced Laser/JY15 skills and techniques will be covered. Sailors must be age 12-16 and have taken Laser and JY15 in the past, or demonstrate proficiency on all basic Laser and JY15 skills. Above requirements for lever I apply.

Windsurfing (Full Day)

This class allows beginner & new windsurfers to learn and practice basic skills and develop more advanced skills. The latest wide style boards are used making learning fun and easy. Skills taught include sailing across the wind, upwind and downwind with steering.
