Sailability of Greater Tampa Bay and Clearwater Community Sailing Center are hosting the fourth “Stars, Sails & Cocktails” on Saturday, Saturday September 30, 2023. This festive event is a fundraiser benefiting both organizations. Utilizing a fleet of adaptive boats, Sailability provides accessible sailing instruction to individuals with neurological disorders, amputees, veterans, and individuals with PTSD. Sailability is one of the few remaining nonprofits providing adaptive sailing opportunities at no cost to the participants. 

Since 2011, Sailability and CCSC have supported the Never Say Never annual pirate camp for limb different children. In October, children from across the United States will travel to Clearwater for a week of sailing, games, and celebration.

Clearwater Community Sailing Center (CCSC) provides safe, enriching, affordable and accessible sailing opportunities to local residents and visitors. CCSC supports youth racing teams consisting of elementary students to highly competitive youth sailors. In 2005, youth windsurfing was introduced to CCSC and has since produced internationally recognized competitors and Olympic hopefuls.

CCSC hosts instructional summer camps, adult sailing lessons and engages in educational partnerships with schools. CCSC is open year-round for the enjoyment and benefit of our entire community.
